Elliptical Lobe Sleeve Bearings
RMT's patented reduced temperature sleeve bearing system with babbitted chrome-copper liners and By-Pass Cooling® for superior heat removal have been successful in reducing bearing operating temperatures by as much as 30%. The elliptical bearing shown to the left is a retrofit for hot running babbitted steel bearings for several axi screw compressors.
